The Carey Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to incoming freshman students.
The William Carey Global Scholarship has been instituted to offer financial assistance to international undergraduate students who exhibit a deep love and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. This scholarship is open to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for admission into Crandall University’s Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts & Science, or Bachelor of Business Administration programs.
Qualified applicants may receive a financial award of up to $18,000 CAD annually, which can be renewed for a maximum of four (4) years to offset their tuition and fees.
William Carey Scholarship
The William Carey Global Scholarship is a financial aid program aimed at assisting international undergraduate students who exhibit a deep commitment to Jesus Christ. Eligible applicants must meet the admission criteria for Crandall University’s Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts & Science, or Bachelor of Business Administration programs.
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
- Meet the admissions requirements for the qualifying undergraduate program of their choice at Crandall University;
- Be between the ages of 18 and 23;
- Have citizenship outside of Canada or the United States;
- Meet English language requirements;
- Demonstrate their commitment to the Christian faith;
- Obtain a valid study permit
Successful applicants may be awarded up to $18,000 CAD annually, renewable for up to four (4) years, to offset their tuition and fees. The scholarship seeks to support the academic and spiritual growth of students who share the values and mission of Crandall University.
As a requirement for applying for the William Carey Global Scholarship, you must submit a 500-750 word essay that showcases your enthusiasm for studying at Crandall University, your personal faith journey, and your understanding of the integration of faith and learning.
You are required to submit two reference letters as part of your application. These letters should be written by individuals who can attest to your commitment to the Christian faith. Suitable references could include church leaders, denominational leaders, or educational leaders who have worked closely with you and can provide insight into your character and values.
