The Kaduna State Government has a committee responsible for handling and granting scholarships to deserving individuals who meet certain criteria. This committee is known as the Kaduna Scholarship Board, and its office is situated at Bida Road Yakubu Gowon, Kaduna State.

The primary job of the Kaduna State Government Scholarship Board is to manage the entire process of applying for and awarding scholarships.

This involves establishing the criteria for eligibility, assessing applications, conducting interviews (if needed), and choosing the most qualified recipients. Additionally, the board is in charge of distributing the scholarship funds and keeping track of the academic progress of the recipients.

KDSG Scholarship Eligibility For 2024-2025

To qualify for the KDSG Scholarship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen.
2. Residence: Must be a resident of Kaduna State.
3. Admission: Although not mandatory at the application stage, successful candidates must secure admission from an accredited Nigerian institution before the scholarship is awarded.

2. WAEC Result: Should have obtained a WAEC result in one sitting, not older than 2017.
3. Academic Performance: Must have a minimum of B in at least five (5) subjects and a C in other subjects in either WAEC, WASSCE, or NECO exams.
4. Timeframe: WAEC or NECO results must not be older than three (3) years from the time of graduation.
5. Maintenance: Scholarship recipients must maintain a CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.

KDSG Postgraduate Scholarship Eligibility:

Postgraduate applicants must adhere to the following conditions:

1. Graduation: Must have graduated with a CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
2. Timeframe: Applicants will not qualify if more than 2 years have elapsed since graduation

   • Enter the 12-digit code assigned to you in the designated space.
   • Click on “Apply Now” to proceed.
6. Fill in Required Fields:
   • Complete all the necessary fields in the application form.

7. Verification:
   • Once the form is completed, print a copy for your records and verification.

 KDSG Scholarship Application Requirement

To be eligible to apply for the KDSG Scholarship, applicants must possess the following documents:

1. WAEC/GCE O’Level Examination:
   • A copy of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) O’Level Examination result.
2. Admission Letter:
   • A valid admission letter from an accredited institution.
3. Income Tax Certificate of Both Parents:
   • Income tax certificates of both parents to provide evidence of financial standing.
4. Death Certificate (If Applicable):
   • In the case of the demise of either parent, a valid death certificate should be provided.
5. Certificate of Origin:
   • A certificate of origin to establish the applicant’s connection to Kaduna State.
6. Transcript or Statement of Result:
   • Academic transcripts or statements of results from previous educational institutions attended.
7. Recent Passport Photograph:
