Uniosun Undergraduate Admission Requirements

To secure admission into the Osun State University, UTME candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

1. Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
2. O’level Results: Candidates should possess a minimum of six “C” grade credits in their O’level results, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects relevant to their chosen field of study. For example, an applicant aspiring to study Mass communication must attain a “C” in English Language, Government/History, Economics, and Literature in English.
3. JAMB Score: Candidates are required to achieve a JAMB UTME score of at least 180.
4. UNIOSUN Post UTME: Applicants must participate in the UNIOSUN Post UTME screening examination and perform well in it. The specific performance standard may vary depending on the chosen course of study.
5. Single Sitting Results: Only one set of O’level results from a single examination sitting is accepted for admission into the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
6. Correct Subject Combination: Candidates must select the appropriate subject combination for their intended courses.
7. UNIOSUN Cut-off Marks: Meeting the stipulated cut-off mark of 160 for their respective courses is essential for gaining admission to the university. Candidates who scored less than 200 marks would not be considered for admission into any of the under-listed competitive programs: Nursing, Medicine, Law, Common, and Islamic Law.

UNIOSUN Direct Entry Admission Requirements

For candidates seeking admission through direct entry into the Osun State University, (UNIOSUN), the following requirements must be met:

1. O’level Results: Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) credit grades in their O’level results, which must include English Language and Mathematics. It’s important to note that using results from two separate sittings is not permitted.
2. Age Requirement: Candidates must have attained at least 16 years of age.
3. JAMB Direct Entry Form: Aspiring students are required to obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and complete the application process.
4. Acceptable Certificates: Candidates should possess one of the following certificates or qualifications: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, or ICAN. These qualifications are eligible for direct entry admission into UNIOSUN.

For those who have been admitted into Osun State University, there is an acceptance fee of N40,000. This fee can be paid through the UNIOSUN Remita platform using Internet banking-enabled debit/ATM cards (like Verve, Visa, and Master cards).

It’s crucial to complete the acceptance and other necessary registration processes on the portal before the deadline, as failing to do so will result in the forfeiture of your provisional admission.
