INSTRUCTION: CORRECTION OF CHANGE OF JAMB TO DIRECT ENTRY

JAMB’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin said that candidates that applied through UTME and later obtained DE (Direct Entry) qualification or wish to use their Direct Entry qualifications for admission can upgrade their UTME to DE at no extra cost.

”Once the candidate registers for UTME and discovers he has direct entry qualification, he or she is free to just upgrade to direct entry,”

  • Login to your Jamb profile
  • open the menu tab on your jamb profile
  • Click Register, under register a drop box will appear showing UTME correction of data
  • Click it and follow the steps to pay either online or by bank.

You can make your payment online via JAMB portal. If you are having difficulties doing that, you can pay to the bank.

After paying N2500 at the bank plus an additional bank charge of N100, proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited centre to complete the process. An additional fee will be charged for the service.

That’s all… You are done with the Jamb correction of details. After Jamb change of institution, wait a few days for the changes you made to take effect.

CONCLUSION

  • JAMB also warned that a phone number can only be used to register one candidate.
  • What this entails; if you have qualification for DE Admission and wish to use it to apply for admission after you may have purchased the UTME Form, all you need to do is just to visit any of the accredited JAMB centre or JAMB offices and upgrade the UTME to Direct Entry instead of purchasing a separate Direct Entry form.

    I’m NCE holder with CGPA 3.64 an I wrote 2021 jamb but I have two cases one (1) I’m using three names in my national identity card for this reason now my jamb name is three while in my documents is two name after the jamb I try to changed the three names to two name an by god gree I did it so now the main problems is that how can I change the jamb name to the new name that I got
    Number two is how can I upgrade the jamb to DE by using my NCE result

    Good morning sir,sir I wrote jamb dis year nd later did conversion from utme to direct entry,but on jamb portal my o’level results is not showing,so I tried uploading it,nd it was written I can’t upload,I was advised to go back to jamb office,, which I did after my explanation,dey said I should HV done d uploading of results b4 doing conversion,dat der is nothing dey can do about it
    .sir am not happy nd HV been having sleepless nights since 2weeks now,,cus I no dat without d o level results der will not be addimssion

    I convert my utme to direct entry for the past one week nw bt it hasn’t reflect ooooo …….de school form I want to obtain is out bt anytime I enter my jamb registration number …it said invalid plss help me out

    Good morning, my son had wanted to convert his jamb to DE for the past two weeks now he could not do so. They said an OTP would be sent to him up till now he did not see any OTP. They said it was Jamb sever/network that has problem. Up till now he nothing has been sent to him to enable him progress with the convertion. We don’t know what could have happened.
    Please your urgent advice sir.

    And can I receive my OTP through my email as I have lost that number?

    Have you been writing jamb and not having a good score or do you wish to upgrade your jamb scores to a better score why not contact Sir Pedro via 09134515788 for help i never believe or thought it was real until he upgraded my sisters result from 132 to 270 and my own from 172 to 265 now am happy that I’m finally done with jamb contact him now via WhatsApp or calls at 09134515788 for the upgrading of your score before the site is been shout down thanks.

    How long before admission for conversation of UTME to DE come out?
    I have upgraded my UTME to DE early July till dis moment and i have not been given admission.
    What could be the cause?
