UPDATED Universities Supplementary Forms [Post UTME] 2023/2024

Updated Universities supplementary forms are now available. This is to inform all candidates who chose some of the Universities as their university of First Choice in the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 140 and above as well as posses required O’level credit for university admission, that the application form for supplementary admission is available now.

WHAT IS SUPPLEMENTARY FORM/EXAM?

A supplementary exam is an additional exam or other forms of assessment that may be approved for a student in the following circumstances. A student who has come close to passing a subject and meets the relevant University guidelines for awarding a supplementary exam.

REASONS WHY PURCHASE SUPPLEMENTARY FORM

Many Universities which are found in Nigeria always have the supplementary form as another alternative means to admit some candidates.

Courses in various Universities in Nigeria are very competitive no matter how small you think the course is because of the population of students that does apply in every academic session.

For instance, consider a scenario where your JAMB cut-off mark and post-UTME score fall short of the university’s ADMISSION cut-off due to high competition for the course. In such cases, those with higher points secure admission, while others may not.

To avoid missing out entirely, you can opt for the Supplementary form to switch to a lower-scoring course. This increases your chances of being included in the second or third admission batch.

IS IT COMPULSORY TO PURCHASE SUPPLEMENTARY FORM FOR MY UNIVERSITY?

Many students wonder if it’s mandatory; it’s not. However, to enhance your chances of admission, it’s advisable to make the purchase.

WHEN DO WE PURCHASE THE SUPPLEMENTARY FORM FOR MY UNIVERSITY?

Supplementary forms are typically available after the completion of the post-UTME and the release of the first batch admission list results. They become accessible before the second batch admission. You can find a list of universities that have released their supplementary forms below.

EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM

All candidates who chose Ebonyi State University Abakaliki as their university of First Choice in the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 140 and above as well as posses required O’level credit for university admission, that the application form for supplementary admission is available now.

Interested candidates should follow the supplementary payment procedure below and pay the N10,050.00 Supplementary fee. The portal for registration is open.

Important Notice:

Applications for supplementary admission into Law, Medicine and Surgery, Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Nursing Sciences will not be accepted or processed.

AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM

Online applications are invited from all qualified candidates for supplementary admissions into the Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden for the 2022/2023 academic session. Only UTME candidates who made AKSU their First (1st) Choice Institution and scored 140 and above, are eligible to apply for the AKSU supplementary admissions.

UNIPORT Supplementary Form and Requirements

1. Applicants MUST possess a minimum score of 180 and above in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and a minimum of 160 in the University’s 2019/2020 Post UTME Screening.

2. Candidates MUST possess the relevant O’level credit passes in accordance with the University’s Entry Requirements before applying for the supplementary admission.

3. The application is online. Candidates should log in to the University website www.uniport.edu.ng for the Supplementary Admission Application Procedure.

 Notice

• Candidates are to note that the University will not entertain any case of change of course after the publication of Supplementary Admission List.
• Inconsistency in the name will not be acceptable to the University and may lead to the disqualification of affected candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.
• Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2018 to be eligible for admission.
• Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level results on the JAMB website (CAPS) should do so immediately at any otherwise such candidates would not be considered for admission.
