Candidates should possess WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit passes in 5 relevant subjects. See the list of subjects below for details.

ELIGIBILITY For Unilorin pre-degree programmes
The Programme is open to applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits in not more than two sittings in English Language and other relevant subjects [in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants for Faculty of Education)].
UNILORIN Remedial Programme Eligibility:
The preliminary programme is primarily opened to applicants from the Catchment States of the University of Ilorin, (i.e. Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto and Zamfara States.
COURSE DURATION
The Programme is for a period of one year (one academic session).
How to Apply for Unilorin pre-degree programmes
The Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) School of Preliminary Studies (SPS) has released the amount and Candidates are to visit the University of Ilorin website www.unilorin.edu.ng and follow the link for the 2019/2020 SPS Application. Application forms are to be completed online after a payment of N15, 000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only) application fee using interswitch enabled ATM card either Master or Verve card.
The payable school fees by the newly admitted candidates into its remedial programme for the 2019/2020 academic session.

After the completion of the form, each candidate MUST download a Local Government Confirmation Form, which MUST be endorsed by the Chairman/Secretary of the Local Government Area. A candidate who is offered admission will be expected to bring the form and SSCE/GCE certificates/result slips during registration.
