Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head, Media and Information, told journalists in Lagos that fraudulent elements were spreading rumors that the cut-off marks had been released in order to defraud unsuspecting candidates.
“We want to seize this opportunity to caution the public, especially candidates, not to allow themselves to be swindled by these desperate individuals that are peddling this rumor Benjamin explained that the next policy meeting would be held on Tuesday, June 11, at Gbongan in Osun.
“We, therefore, want to appeal to the general public, especially the candidates not to fall prey to fraudsters.
“The board will continue to provide information to the public on its processes and activities at every stage,” Benjamin assured.

2023 UTME: Candidates Should be Aware Of Unannounced Jamb Cut-Off Mark
The board said it was yet to release the cut-off marks for 2024 admissions, saying the ones in circulation were from fraudsters who in their usual ways were out to dupe unsuspecting admission seekers.
“This meeting has been fixed for June 15 and 16, 2020, all things being equal. Until this meeting is held, nobody can discuss Jamb cut-off mark. Nigerians are advised to disregard any such marks being paraded.”

JAMB’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin said that candidates that applied through UTME and later obtained DE (Direct Entry) qualification or wish to use their Direct Entry qualifications for admission can upgrade their UTME to DE at no extra cost.

- Click it and follow the steps to pay either online or by the bank.
You can make your payment online via the JAMB portal. If you are having difficulties doing that, you can pay the bank.
After paying N2500 at the bank plus an additional bank charge of N100, proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited centre to complete the process. An additional fee will be charged for the service.
